Nearly September already!

Where has the year gone?? It's certainly flying by that's for sure.

Just a quick post from me today to show a card I've made as an entry for two challenges; the Get Sketchy challenge #53...



...and The Color Throwdown #107, which was to use these colours...



My interpretation of these challenges was this card...



The inspiration, apart from the sketch and colours, came from a friend having recently achieved an A* GCSE in Japanese.

I used various coloured cardstock and layered green vellum over white to get the pear green shade I was looking for. The pink flowers are cut from printed paper from the Wild Blossoms collection. The Geisha Girls were a digital stamp from DigiStamp Boutique.
